     Description

Céline and Laurent will start your weekend with a warm welcome to their family estate where they are happy to show you their products and explain their close-to-nature working methods. The owners will discuss the estate wines during the tasting and will send you home with two bottles of Crozes-Hermitage to prolong your enjoyment whenever you like...

After a day exploring the vineyards of the Rhone Valley, there is nothing quite like a good night's sleep. Behind its charming earth-coloured walls, the Hôtel*** Les Azalées offers air-conditioned rooms with Provençal accents, fully equipped with all conveniences, cable TV and Wi-Fi. Open your window the next morning for a view over the famous Saint-Joseph vineyard. And after breakfast, enjoy a leisurely stroll through Tournon's picturesque alleyways or along the marina.

The second day of your weekend is dedicated to wine tasting and food pairings: discover the basics of wine tasting. As you learn how to evaluate a wine's complexity and primary characteristics, you will understand why certain foods are best paired with certain wines.

Then with the help of your guide, you will try to identify the elements that should be highlighted for the most successful pairings. Put this knowledge to the test as you participate in a unique tasting featuring estate wines and regional products that have been specially chosen for the occasion. Now it's up to you to suggest new pairings and new ideas, to get off the beaten path!
