In just one day, learn all about this renowned terroir with a visit to the famous Château de Pommard. This tour - part unaccompanied, part guided - will help you get to know a major player on the French wine scene, first of all at your own pace, then with the guidance of one of the Château's wine consultants. And of course... there is always time for wine tastings...

The tour includes a stop in Beaune with its rich historical and architectural heritage (including the famous hospices) before continuing with a tour of the Gaugry cheese-making facility.

Located on the outskirts of the village adjoining the Gevrey-Chambertin vineyards, the Gaugry cheese-making facility is perfect to include in a wine-based tour. You will learn about another aspect of Burgundy's traditional food and wine production as you tour the facility and taste the cheeses made on site.

Finally, explore the vaulted cellars of the Château de Marsannay, featuring Meuilley paving stones, built on two levels with bottles stretching as far as the eye can see.

Time to taste the estate crus in the Chateau's cellars before leaving with a complimentary souvenir wine glass. This Château offers a wide range of appellations such as Marsannay, Gevrey-Chambertin, Vosne-Romanée, Aloxe-Corton, and more. Enjoy the richness and variety of these wines for a spectacular ending to your day in the heart of Burgundy.
